I first saw Paul for a bad muscle strain at the top of one arm, giving me acute pain and significantly restricting movement at the shoulder. Paul respected my request to have treatment which was fairly gentle, as this is what I felt most comfortable with. The initial couple of treatments restored some mobility and lessened the pain a little, which made coping with the injury a bit easier, and the arm then improved further with each subsequent treatment. Paul was excellent in identifying all areas of tightness in my shoulder and arm that had contributed to the injury. Although healing of a bad strain inevitably takes time, I am certain that osteopathy has promoted faster healing and that time alone would not have restored the function in my shoulder as successfully. Paul is now also working on other areas of tight muscles so that I can hopefully prevent similar injuries elsewhere going forwards, and I am already feeling generally more flexible.

I first went to see Paul in the hope that he could cure a persistent back problem which I had been suffering with for 7 months.  I was extremely nervous but Paul did a marvellous job of making me feel more relaxed.  At the beginning of the consultation Paul was able to locate the exact spot where my back appeared to be stuck.  He gave a clear explanation as to what was happening during my treatment, and I came away feeling so much better.  After a few sessions my pain and restricted movement was alleviated.  I cant thank him enough.  I will definitely continue to see Paul for top up treatments if necessary
